LAX in the rain.
Lacrosse in the rain can be fun at times. It does ruin your sticks though, but lax in the hail stinks. At our practice the othre day, it started to hail. it came down really hard. Thankfully we had our helmets on but it still hit our arms and legs and bare bodies. It hurt really bad and sometimes went through the holes in our helmets.

Last season's lacrosse record (jv)
In lacrosse season 10', our junior varsity team had an impressive record of 17 wins and 2 losses. The De LA Salle Pilots just fell short twice. Both losses were to the michigan lacrosse powerhouse, Brother Rice. One loss in the regular season and the second was for the Catholic League Championship.
Some may say that the De La Salle JV lacrosse team played with heart, toughness, strategy, courage, fearlesness, strength, and passion, and others may say it was just skill. Overall, the Pilots had a fantastic season at the JV level.
Thats not to say that the freshmen and Varsity did not do well.

ultimate lax bro one and two.
Every Lacrosse player should have seen these sometime in their life. These videos show the typical life of a lax player. Some say this has nothing to do with this website, but in reality, it provides 99% of lacrosse jokes and in came comments. (example: Bros, anyone care to lax?)

Why Play Lacrosse?
Lacrosse, considered to be America's first sport, was born of the North American Indian, christened by the French, and adapted and raised by the Canadians. Modern lacrosse has been embraced by athletes and enthusiasts of the United States and the British Commonwealth for over a century.
The sport of lacrosse is a combination of basketball, soccer and hockey. Anyone can play lacrosse -- the big or the small. The game requires and rewards coordination and agility, not brawn. Quickness and speed are two highly prized qualities in lacrosse.

Wall work
Start off standing 10-15 feet from the wall, with your feet spread in throwing position, perpendicular to the wall. Having the step already in place allows you to concentrate on the upper body mechanics of throwing -- keeping your biceps by your ear, your hips and shoulders creating a torque motion, snapping the wrist of your top hand and fashioning a full follow-through.
Do 25 reps on each hand. They should be rapid (an optimal wall ball workout lasts about 30 minutes). Then move to within 5 feet of the wall, choke up on your stick handle, and repeat reps of 25 on your right and left hands.
